Senior Attorney
Since 1999, Peter Zweighaft has represented private and public owners, general contractors, sureties, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers in various construction litigation matters, including major construction claims on public and private works, construction defect claims, and mechanic's liens and stop notice claims. His litigation experience includes participation in civil trials, arbitrations, appeals, and writ proceedings. Mr. Zweighaft has also provided contract advice for both owners and general contractors. He has litigated a wide variety of cases involving major infrastructure projects (highways and airports), refineries, hospitals, hotels, casinos and theaters. Prior to 1999, Mr. Zweighaft was a general commercial litigator with civil antitrust experience.
