Head of Intellectual Property, Europe

Benoît Strowel, head of Howrey's European Intellectual Property practice and a Partner in the Brussels office, specialises in patent law and both the regulatory and intellectual property issues facing pharmaceutical companies.

Benoît is recognised as a leading European patent litigator. According to Chambers, market commentators characterise him as a "highly intelligent client-getter" and "reconciliatory: he will work towards a deal, not a conflict. Moreover he does his homework and is accurate in his argumentation."

"After my previous position as managing partner it was time for a change. The combination of an international dimension, Howrey's business concept and the opportunity to work with the best lawyers in Intellectual Property, Antitrust and Litigation is unique and convinced me to join Howrey."
