Carey Busen is an associate in the Global Litigation practice group. She has represented clients in class actions in multi-district proceedings. Ms. Busen has been involved with large scale document productions, managing a team of other lawyers. She has experience researching and drafting discovery and dispositive motions.
Ms. Busen’s practice includes providing pro bono services. She successfully represented an asylum applicant from Burkina Faso in her asylum claim.
Prior to law school, Ms. Busen was a litigation consultant at Navigant Consulting. She specialized in complex data analysis. As a consultant, she was part of Howrey’s International Paper Co. v. Affiliated FM Ins. Co. trial team that obtained a $383 million verdict in a jury trial.
